Gaia Women Global is a humanitarian and ecologically supportive organization that provides education and brings together an international network of women who are working for the earth.
We are offering an ongoing series of webcasts featuring female luminaries in the caring for the earth movement to educate and inspire people around the world to live holistic lives in harmony with the planet.
We aim to create community, to share knowledge and empower each other for the benefit of all.
As part of the Gaia Women Global vision we have started the Gaia Women Global Empowerment Fund to support women in their business and eco-based right livelihood.
Gaia Women Global is the collaboration of Celia Anne Browne and Krista Holland inspired by their mutual interest, knowledge and work in the fields of Ecology, Yoga and the Healing Arts.

Celia Anne Browne
Co-Founder, Gaia Women Global
In the Healing Arts, Celia Anne is an International Jivamukti Yoga Teacher and Natural Healing Educator. Her training as an Herbalist includes the Wise Woman Healing Tradition and apprenticeships with Robin Rose Bennett and Judith Berger, study in clinical herbalism with Amanda McQuade Crawford as a graduate of the Ojai Center of Phytotherapy and Eco-Spirituality and Aromatherapy with David Crow of Floracopeia.
Celia Anne was inspired by the writing of Krishnamurti at age nine and was always drawn to the mystical, even through some wild years as a youth in Brooklyn, New York. Particular contemplation in Taoism, Tantra in the Kashmir Shaivism and Sri Vidya lineages, the Divine Feminine, Tibetan Buddhism, Brazilian Spiritism, Shamanism and Ayurveda. She has had opportunity to explore deeply in sacred pilgrimages and global travel.
Celia Anne is the Editorial Consultant and a Writer at A Green Beauty Magazine, Mara Schiavetti founder and editor.
For five years she was on staff at LA Yoga Magazine guided by Julie Deife, founder and editor.
Celia Anne also has extensive background in the Arts.
In the past decade she has called Los Angeles home and more recently Paris, France.
She is thankful to be part of the global movement that crusades to create an ecologically supportive and sustainable world, where new paradigms are entirely possible, and love and peace shine supreme.
Krista Holland
Co-Founder, Gaia Women Global
Krista draws from her in-depth practice and studies in the realms of yoga, Ayurveda, Tantrik philosophy, permaculture, sacred drumming and the ancient Goddess traditions to guide women to the depths of their own beauty, power and unique offerings to the world. Krista was first introduced to Eastern philosophy, mysticism and various practices of meditation at an ashram in India at the age of twelve. Krista is a devoted practitioner and teacher of the essence of non-dual tantra, inspired by the lineage and sacred texts of Shaiva tantra and Sri Vidya. She is known for her gift of weaving the ancient wisdom of yogic philosophy through the practice of full spectrum yoga and Embodied Life Coaching. Krista is also a faculty member of the College of the Melissae – Center for Sacred Beekeeping where she teaches Symbol Systems and Sacred Drumming connected to the ancient Bee Priestess traditions. The synthesis of her multidisciplinary work and dharma is embodied through Yoga and Living Arts, where she offers a rich mandala of teachings and private coaching dedicated to personal and planetary healing, spiritual liberation and the full flowering of embodied life mastery.
